One of the newest designs, the safari themed name illustration has proved popular. Each time chosen in the burnt orange, the illustrations selected to peep out from behind the letters include any combination of a number of jungle and safari animals – ranging from lions, tigers and giraffes to crocodiles, snakes and hippos. Always accompanied by a raft of greenery in the form of acacia trees and palms, the green adds interest to what is predominantly a painting of bright and hot safari colours. Where lots of greys and browns are used in the illustrations (such as hippos, rhinos, elephants and monkeys) it’s good to keep the lettering to a “hot” palette – so varying shades of burnt orange and reds have been popular to date.
An original watercolour, it is hand-painted on thick watercolour paper and mounted using an off-white acid free mount board. Please see the Framing and Prices pages for further details of choices of framing and pricing.
